We had an exciting Mother’s Day weekend. I started Saturday morning off with a great family that’s on our baby plan. This was the 9 month session. It seems like the babies change so much from the 6 month session to the 9 month session and this little sweetie was no exception.

Then we took Tanner downtown for some photos. He had a great time playing as I snapped away. I’m not sure which one I like better of this shot…the vertical:

or the horizontal:

Here’s Tanner trying to break into an iron gate (he wasn’t successful).

In addition to the SD “Super Duper” 800 that Tanner gave me as an early Mother’s Day gift, he also made a really neat video / flipbook of his photos from the past year (I think he had some help from Dad). Of course, I loved the flipbook. Now that “Tanner” knows how to make the flipbooks, I hope to talk him into helping me make one of using some of my photos from your sessions. I want to make a flipbook of all the silly, funny, happy, out-of-the-ordinary photos…which is what I love. It’ll be hard not to share all these photos on the blog, but it’ll be worth the wait.
In other exciting news, Kris and I got new vehicles last week. Well, almost. We had both of our vehicles detailed by Rockstar Detailing and they look as good as new. Our vehicles had been embarassingly neglected since the arrival of a little man about a year and a half ago. But Kyle Hamilton, the owner of Rockstar Detailing, worked his magic and got us back on track. Now, the insides of the vehicles look just like new and the outsides are shinny again. There was a white scratch on our black Explorer (yes, I confess, I did it) and he was even able to remove it! I met Kyle though a BNI group that we both belong to. In case you aren’t familiar with BNI, its a networking organization where different businesses meet and trade referrals. So, if your vehicle is in need of some TLC, give Kyle a call (554-9302) and tell him that you heard of his business on the Centerpiece Photography blog, that way he knows his BNI membership is paying off. If your business is interested in joining BNI please let me know. I am a firm believer in BNI!
