Love Is In The Air

We had the best time at a family wedding on Saturday.  My cousin’s daughter was married in a beautiful church in Emporia.  We were running late to the wedding (thanks to some of the worst rain we’ve ever had to drive through), so we were seated in the back of the church, which was actually perfect for photos.

The cake was beautiful (and yummy…Tanner enjoyed eating and wearing it).

The church was across the street from a playground, and the little kids enjoyed playing outside during the reception (thankfully, it wasn’t raining in Emporia).  I’m not sure what Tanner is doing here, but he apparently thinks its pretty funny.

Here is one of my little cousins getting a touch-up from her grandma during the receiption.

Here is a shot of the bride and groom checking out their decorated car after the receiption.

I was so excited to get this shot of the garter in mid air.

Although I wasn’t the “official” photographer at this wedding, I had a great time taking photos.  After attending this wedding, I’m now even more excited for the upcoming weddings I’m booked for.  If you know anyone who is engaged, please have them give me call to discuss wedding photography.

This weekend I had an engagement session for a couple that is getting married next year.  I’m so excited that they asked me to be their photographer.

And here are some more shots from another engagement session.  This couple loves to hike, so we hit some hiking trails for their session.  It was a lot of fun (and good exercise).
