Water Fun

Last night we thought Tanner might have fun playing outside in the sprinkler, but he wasn’t up for playing in the water at first.  Here’s a shot of Tanner getting sprayed with the hose (Tanner wasn’t enjoying it too much…can you tell?).

Tanner kept peeking over to see if the neighbor kids were outside playing and was so excited when they invited him over to play in their pools.  Tanner is so lucky to have such fun kids to play with next door. 

The neighbor kids put on quite a show for Tanner…they would run and jump into the big pool as Tanner watched from the little pool.  This shot of Tanner’s reaction to them just cracks me up.

Then the kids came over to our house to play in the sprinkler.  Tanner wasn’t too sure about running through the sprinkler, so I asked Mallory to take his hand and run with him.  They must have run through the sprinkler together like this at least a dozen times.  So sweet!

After all that practice with Mallory, Tanner was ready to brave the sprinkler by himself.

In other exciting news, our brand new camera just arrived on our doorstep.  We ordered it weeks and weeks ago and since it is a new model hot off the production line, there was a delay in getting it.  Kris had been absolutely positively driving me crazy constantly checking his e-mail to see if it shipped and pouring over the photography forums to see whether any cameras shipped that day.  Well, the company we ordered it from didn’t even tell us it shipped, so he is going to be beside himself with excitement when he realizes its here.  I’m charging the battery now so when he gets home it’ll be ready to go.  I’m sure we will have plenty of pics to share in the coming days.
