Kris and I took Friday off from work to get some “Tanner time” with our little man. We didn’t really have a plan, so we just got in the car and drove. First stop was lunch at Legends (no, we didn’t get an early start on our day) and then we did a little shopping. We then headed north and got some antiquing in. I got some neat chairs and a tricycle that will be great for photo sessions. Then we found a pumpkin farm outside Weston Missouri, I think it was called Red Barn Farm, or something like that. It was really neat and had lots of animals, which Tanner enjoyed. Here he is checking out the chickens:
Then we went to Weston Missouri for a little shopping. Here’s Tanner taking a break:

Then we went to Atchinson and let him play on the trains they have there at the museum.

Then it was off to the river front where we were hoping to get some photos, well, in front of the river. Tanner had other ideas and just rolled and rolled and rolled in the grass until it was way too dark for photos.

We had lots of sessions scheduled for Saturday, some of which we rescheduled because of the rain. But Saturday afternoon was cloudy and perfect for photos. We took another scenic drive, this time we went to Alma, and I got some new favorite pics of him. This is Kris’ favorite from the day (Tanner is saying “Dad, where in the heck are we?”)

And this is my favorite from the day. He loved throwing rocks.
